DJ Foundations is an online learning pathway from Best DJ Academy, founded by DJ, producer and author Hakan Nurhak.

Who it is for: Beginners building their first mix.

Learning you put into practice

A 10–15-minute mix demonstrating cueing, timing, phrasing and controlled levels, plus a theory score of at least 80%. Practical work is reviewed separately by a tutor.

A course certificate requires the relevant theory and practical passes. Best DJ Academy certificates are privately issued course awards, not Ofqual-regulated qualifications. Training does not guarantee bookings or employment.

Early enrolment is open

Official launch: 23 November 2026. Six written modules with exercises, knowledge checks and saved progress are available to enrolled Foundations students. Video demonstrations are being added.

Introductory course price: £49 GBP, intended through 31 January 2027. One payment; no recurring subscription. No physical item is shipped.

Create your Academy student account, confirm your email and use the same email at checkout. After payment, sign in to the Student Studio and select Refresh paid access. If your course is missing, contact Hakan with your order number. Please do not pay again.

Early enrolment includes the resources described above and your chosen pathway as it develops towards launch. Access duration, tutor review times and resubmission arrangements are being finalised. Ask us before paying if these affect your decision. Gift activation is not available. Parents or guardians should contact us before paying for a learner aged 14–17.
