Best DJ Academy — Professional DJ Practice

Build the confidence to serve the room.

Professional DJ Practice is an online learning pathway from Best DJ Academy, founded by DJ, producer and author Hakan Nurhak.

Who it is for: DJs who already have basic mixing skills.

Explore six planned modules

• Reading the brief and the room
• Shaping a complete set
• Soundchecks and venue preparation
• Microphone and client communication
• Bookings and working relationships
• Developing your professional identity

Learning you put into practice

A 30-minute set, a written response to an event brief and scenario questions. Assessment covers selection, levels, transitions, preparation and professional communication.

A course certificate requires the relevant theory and practical passes. Best DJ Academy certificates are privately issued course awards, not Ofqual-regulated qualifications. Training does not guarantee bookings or employment.
